An air-launched Orbital Sciences Pegasus rocket will place three miniature satellites into orbit for NASA's Space Technology 5 mission. The launch is scheduled for March 14 from Vandenberg Air Force Base, California. This is the pre-launch press conference held March 12 with Jim Slavin, the ST5 project scientist, Chuck Dovale, the NASA launch manager, Bryan Baldwin, Pegasus program director at Orbital Sciences, Art Azarbarzin, ST5 spacecraft project manager, and David Bieger, the Air Force launch weather officer.
