Space Tech 5: Mission preview briefing

A preview of the Space Technology 5 mission objectives for demonstrating new technologies and benefits for science is provided in this pre-flight news conference held March 12 at the Vandenberg Air Force Base launch site. The briefers include Ray Taylor from the Science Mission Directorate at NASA Headquarters, Chris Stevens, from the New Millennium Program at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory and Jim Slavin, ST5 project scientist.
