CALIPSO/CloudSat: The launch experience

This long-length movie captures the thrill of launch. As the countdown resumes from the T-minus 4 minute hold, watch as the Boeing launch team readies the Delta 2 rocket for liftoff carrying the CALIPSO and CloudSat spacecraft from Vandenberg Air Force Base, California. The video takes you through the arrival in orbit when the second stage engine completes its initial firing.
