STS-121: Space shuttle Discovery begins milestone move

Just after 11 a.m. on May 12, space shuttle Discovery began its move out of the Orbiter Processing Facility bay 3 for the milestone transfer to the Vehicle Assembly Building. Discovery had spent nearly nine months undergoing pre-flight preps inside the hangar.
