STS-121 flight day 3: Shuttle Discovery docks to the space station

Space shuttle Discovery arrives at the International Space Station, docking with the outpost to deliver fresh supplies, equipment and a third member for the resident crew. The linkup occurred at 10:52 a.m. EDT over the South Pacific as the spacecraft passed into an orbital sunrise.
