Piers Sellers climbs aboard the Orbiter Boom Sensor System and conducts the first of the stability tests. The boom, which is attached to the end of the space shuttle's robot arm, is positioned about 14 feet from the payload bay where Sellers practices several movements to simulate real inspection or repair actions.
