The pre-launch news conference for NASA's Solar Terrestrial Relations Observatory (STEREO) mission is held October 24 at Kennedy Space Center, Florida. Briefers discuss the preparations leading up to liftoff of the Boeing Delta 2 rocket with the twin STEREO spacecraft to study the sun.
