STS-63: A rendezvous with Mir

As a prelude to future dockings between American space shuttles and the Russian space station Mir, the two countries had a test rendezvous in February 1995. Shuttle Discovery flew within 37 feet of the orbiting station during STS-63 to set the stage for future linkups. The crew, which included the first woman shuttle pilot, Eileen Collins, narrates the mission film and slides.
