STS-117: Launch date set following Flight Readiness Review

NASA leaders held a two-day Flight Readiness Review to assess preparations for space shuttle Atlantis' STS-117 mission. The meeting concluded with approval of the June 8 target launch date. Officials hold this news briefing to announce the date and recap the Flight Readiness Review.
