Discovery riding atop its 747 carrier aircraft touches down

The space shuttle Discovery, riding atop its Boeing 747 Shuttle Carrier Aircraft, touches down on the three-mile long landing strip at the Kennedy Space Center. This video was shot from the control tower at the midpoint of the runway.
