STS-122: Atlantis rolls to pad 39A

Space shuttle Atlantis began the three-and-a-half-mile trip from the Vehicle Assembly Building to launch pad 39A at 4:43 a.m. EST Saturday morning. The mobile platform was firmly secured in place atop the seaside pad at 11:51 a.m. EST.
