Pluto New Horizons: Spacecraft mounted atop third stage motor

Workers hoist Pluto New Horizons atop the Star 48 motor that serves as the third stage for the spacecraft's launch from Earth, following the Atlas-Centaur firings. This modified Delta 2 rocket stage will give the spacecraft the needed push for its voyage across the solar system.
