Stardust: Capsule lands on Earth

Infrared video cameras in Utah track the hot glow of the Stardust comet sample return capsule as it streaks overhead during return to Earth. The trackers follow the capsule as it deploys its parachutes and touches down to complete a 2.88 billion mile journey through the solar system. The movie features the mission control and commentary audio as heard live.
